JP’S CORNER KARAOKE CONTEST RULES
1. Contest will begin on January 12th.
2. Contest will be held every Thursday Night for eight weeks.
3. Contest will run from 8pm - Midnight.
4. Contest will be conducted and ran by DJ Dean with RTR Karaoke.
5. Contestants must be 21 years of age or older to enter.
6. Please arrive early to sign up and make your song selection.
7. Song choice cannot be changed once it has been selected and turned in to DJ Dean.
8. 16 singers will qualify to sing for weekly and overall CASH & PRIZES with a $500 GRAND PRIZE!!
9. 2 contestants will qualify each week to go to the finals.
10. The final week will consist of 16 qualifiers competing for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.
11. Each contestant will sing one solo song of their choice for the audience.
12. After all the contestants have sung, the audience will vote on a first and second qualifying position.
13. Any singer not able to perform in allotted time will start the contest the following week.
14. In the event that we cannot fill the first and/or second qualifying position in any given week, we will continue on to the next week.
15. Finals will be held on March 8th.
16. Finals will be judged by audience and a panel of judges appointed by JP’s Corner.
17. Prizes will be awarded in the following manner: 1st place – $500! 2nd place -$50 Gift Certificate and Merchandise. 3rd place -$25 Gift Certificate and Merchandise
18. Qualifying Weekly Prizes will be awarded in the following manner: 1st place – $10 Gift Certificate. 2nd place – FREE Drink Card.
19. This is all about having fun and entertaining the audience karaoke style! So bring your friends and family to cheer you on and help increase your own chances of winning!
